Scrolling the Chart, Auto-Scroll to Present

VT Trader has several ways to move the contents of the chart:

• The easiest way to move the chart is to roll your mousewheel.


• You can also click and hold your mouse and "grab" the price action and while still holding down on the mouse move the chart. Your mouse will change to a clutched hand when you have grabbed the mouse.


• You can use the scroll bar on the bottem left of the chart window to either move incremently left or right, or you can grab the middle square of the scroll bar and drag the price action quickly. 

When scrolling to see past data it is important to switch off VT Trader's Auto-Scroll to Current Time feature. When enabled, this feature will automatically move the chart display to the current time in order to see the most recent incoming price change. By default this feature is enabled.

Disabling this option allows the user to easily perform technical analysis on all historical price data loaded into the chart window without the chart automatically returning its display to the most recent price data.
